Darrel S. Brodke, MD is a board certified spine specialist with expertise in the care of neck and back problems, including disc herniations, spinal stenosis, degenerative conditions, deformities and trauma of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. Dr. Brodke received his MD at the University of California, San Francisco, completed an Orthopaedic residency at the University of Wisconsin and a Fellowship in spine surgery at the University of Washington in Seattle. He joined the University of Utah in 1997 and now holds the Louis and Janet Peery Presidential Endowed Chair and is Professor and Chairman of the Depatment of Orthopaedics, with research interests in spinal biomechanics and patient reported outcomes studies.
